BadgeMilestone helps you scan YouTube channels, stamp milestone badges on thumbnails, and export or push them. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Information we collect
Account details (name, email) when you sign in; Google account identifiers used for authentication; YouTube channel and video metadata (including titles, IDs, thumbnails, and view counts) when you use the tool; OAuth tokens needed to read your channel and optionally update thumbnails on videos you own; project preferences you save; and payment-related details handled by our payment providers if you upgrade.
How we use it
To run the product (sign-in, scan, compose, export, push), keep your projects, process purchases, send essential account email, and improve reliability and support. We use Google user data only to provide or improve these user-facing features—not to train AI/ML models, serve ads, or determine creditworthiness.
Sharing of Google user data
We do not sell Google user data. We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to third parties for advertising, data brokerage, or unrelated marketing. We disclose Google user data only to service providers that process it on our behalf to operate BadgeMilestone: Google (OAuth and YouTube Data API), our hosting/database provider, and—when you purchase—payment processors (Stripe and/or Lemon Squeezy). We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect security or prevent abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice where required. Recipients may process data only to provide their services to us, except where they act under their own terms when you interact with them directly (for example, Google or a payment checkout).
Retention & security
We keep data only as long as needed for the service and legal obligations, and use reasonable safeguards against unauthorized access. YouTube OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only for channel access and thumbnail push you request.
Your choices
You can disconnect Google, delete projects, or request account deletion. You can also revoke access in your Google Account permissions. Contact us if you need help exercising those rights.
